CONCORD, N.C. (Oct. 10, 2003) – Inclement weather postponed Friday’s NASCAR Busch Series race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway as rain moved into the area during the late afternoon. The race was originally slated to start under the lights at 8 p.m. ET.
The event was started under caution as the field followed the pace car for nine laps before the race was red-flagged and rescheduled. Those laps will not count when racing resumes.
The Busch Series event has been moved to Saturday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m (NBC, 11 a.m.).
As originally planned, the UAW-GM Quality 500 NASCAR Winston Cup Series race will go ahead as scheduled, with a 7:30 p.m. green flag on Saturday (NBC, 7 p.m.).
