By visiting eBay Motors website fans can register for their chance to put their eBay usernames on the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, which will be sponsored by eBay Motors for the Martinsville event. Fans who register also will have a chance to win a VIP trip to Martinsville for the race weekend. The promotion, which began Sept. 20, will conclude Oct. 15. For official rules please click here.
“I’m really excited to have eBay Motors join us for the upcoming race at Martinsville,” Martin said. “With Rick (Hendrick, team owner) and I both being in the car business ourselves, we both appreciate working with companies that are also in the business and are doing what they do to help move cars. The deal they’re running to let eBay users put their username on the car is pretty cool, too. I haven’t done a car like that before, and I’m anxious to see how many names we get on there. It would be nice to have a good run that weekend—maybe even take all of those fans to Victory Lane with me. I’ve always said I have the best fans in NASCAR. That would be a good way to thank them.”
