JOLIET, Ill. - After waiting most of Sunday, NASCAR officials decided to postpone the first race of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup until Monday. The event at Chicagoland Speedway will begin at noon ET and will be televised on ESPN.

When the green flag waves, Jimmie Johnson will start 12th, while his Hendrick Motorsports teammates will start inside the top 25. Dale Earnhardt Jr. will begin 19th, while Jeff Gordon is 23rd and Mark Martin is 25th.
