LAS VEGAS – Wednesday evening, Hendrick Motorsports Gaming Club took on the first round of the eNASCAR Heat Pro League playoffs at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, with both drivers taking home top-10 finishes.

Xbox One driver Sam Morris started the 50-lap race in sixth and quickly joined the lead draft before being involved in an on-track incident on lap seven.

Restarting 12th, the driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet reentered the top 10 just four laps later. As the field cycled through green-flag pit stops, Morris was able to jump up to third before coming down pit road for fresh tires and fuel on lap 22.

After restarting second following the second competition caution of the night, the driver fell back to seventh before taking the checkered flag in ninth to capture his fifth top 10-finish of the season.

Up next, Nick Jobes took the green flag in the PlayStation 4 race from the ninth position. He raced his way to third in the opening laps before the competition caution waved on lap 13. On the restart he made contact with a competitor and fell back to 14th.

The PlayStation 4 gamer was able to climb up the leaderboard to 12th before the second competition caution of the night came out on lap 27. He continued to fight his way into the top ten before taking over the race lead less than 10 laps later. Jobes held a one second lead over second as the field pitted for green-flag pit stops.

After pitting under green, the driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet fell to sixth, before crossing the line in seventh.

Hendrick Motorsports Gaming Club will head to Kansas Motor Speedway on Wednesday, Sept. 25 for the second round of the eNASCAR Heat Pro League playoffs.
