CONCORD, N.C. -- The starting lineup for the Clash has been set. Alex Bowman will start second the annual exhibition race ahead of the DAYTONA 500.
The lineup was set through a drawing done by the crew chiefs. Greg Ives pulled the can with two written on it. No. 24 crew chief Rudy Fugle pulled the can with the number five for William Byron, giving him a fifth-place start.
Reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott will start in seventh place after No. 9 crew chief Alan Gustafson drew that can number.
Ryan Blaney earned the pole through the drawing.
The Clash will be Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. ET on FS1. Take a look at the full lineup for the race below.
