CONCORD, N.C. -- Jimmie Johnson has nine victories at Martinsville Speedway and nine iconic grandfather clock trophies to match.
This weekend, Johnson is looking for lucky number 10.
As the NASCAR Cup Series heads to Martinsville, Johnson shares his thoughts on what makes this historic track so distinct.
“Martinsville Speedway is such a small, intimate track where fans and competitors are really just so close to the action,” Johnson said. “For me, it’s a flashback to the past and a real feel of what NASCAR was like generations before me.”
