CONCORD, N.C.-- This weekend's event at Kansas Speedway marks the second race in the Contender Round in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
With the No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet SS team currently sitting outside of the top-eight in the Chase standings – the cutoff to advance to the Eliminator Round – crew chief Greg Ives is looking for a strong performance by the team on Sunday.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. knows what it will take to finish strong at Kansas, as the team previously earned a top-three finish at the Kansas City racetrack earlier this season.
