DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Daytona 500 always brings some big names to the track every year, and Sunday's 2017 season-opener was no exception.

Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, a member of the United States' gold medal team in Rio de Janeiro last summer, visited with Kasey Kahne and Jimmie Johnson before the race, and even caught some of the action from atop Kahne's No. 5 team pit box.

Additionally, New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall -- a six-time Pro Bowler -- was among the famous faces on the grid, where he also visited with Kahne and Johnson.
