CONCORD, N.C. – Chase Elliott is pulling triple duty this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Not only will he perform his normal duties in the NASCAR Cup Series with his No. 24 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet SS team, he’ll also race in Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event.

“It was something those guys approached me about I guess about a month or so ago and asked me if I had an interest in running here. I said, absolutely, I thought it would be fun,” Elliott explained. “It’s pretty cool and once I got the OK from all the folks at Hendrick Motorsports, it was straight forward.”

Elliott is no stranger to the Truck Series. He has amassed six top-five finishes, eight top-10s, two pole positions and a win in his truck career. In his most recent truck start at Martinsville last season, he earned the pole and led 109 laps en route to a runner-up result.

And to complete the trifecta, in addition to Elliott’s growing résumé on the track, he’ll add the broadcast booth to his repertoire this weekend. On Saturday he’ll join the NASCAR on FOX crew as a guest analyst during FS1’s live coverage of the NASCAR XFINITY Series race. Coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET.

“I’m excited, it’s something that I’ve never done before and I honestly didn’t really see myself doing it or being asked to do it, so that was kind of cool,” Elliott said. “I thought Atlanta was a fitting place to give it a shot. I’m excited about that.”
