FORT WORTH, Texas -- Another 85 laps are complete at Texas Motor Speedway and Jimmie Johnson once again led his teammates to the green-checkered flag.

After finishing Stage 1 just outside of the Top 10, Johnson kept his momentum going to work his way toward the front of the field. He finished Stage 2 in second, earning nine bonus points.

Chase Elliott joined Johnson inside the top five in fifth. He earned six bonus points.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. also earned bonus points in the stage by finishing inside the top 10. He took the green checkered flag in ninth and captured two extra points. 

Kasey Kahne missed out on bonus points but again finished the stage inside the top 15 in 14th.

Ryan Blaney won the stage.

With the first two stages of the race complete, a final 164-lap segment remains before the checkered flag waves at Texas.
