BRISTOL, Tenn. – After staying off of pit road during the final caution of Stage 2, Jimmie Johnson took the green checkered flag as the runner-up.

Johnson led his teammates to the finish line in the segment, picking up nine extra points. It marked his second consecutive stage inside of the top 10 Saturday night.

Chase Elliott narrowly missed picking up extra points, finishing Stage 2 in 11th.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. took the final restart of Stage 2 in fifth with six laps to go in the segment. He gained the position after staying off of pit road, but fell back in the pack on older tires and finished Stage 2 in 19th.

Kasey Kahne finished Stage 2 in 27th. He made multiple trips to pit road during the final caution of the segment due to sustaining damage when he made contact with a competitor ahead of him and hit the wall while checking up when a multiple-car incident occurred ahead of him.

The race will conclude with a 250-lap final segment.
