LAS VEGAS – Dale Earnhardt Jr. received the Chevrolet Lifetime Achievement Award on Wednesday evening during Champion’s Week.
After a video highlighting Earnhardt’s many accomplishments behind the wheel of Chevrolets, the manufacturer’s U.S. Vice President of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports Jim Campbell presented the driver with the second ever Chevrolet Lifetime Achievement Award.
“It was really unexpected and I was unprepared for it,” Earnhardt said. “But it meant a lot to me because I’ve been loyal to Chevrolet for many, many years. For them to see the relationship as valuable to them as I see it for me means a lot."
