CONCORD, N.C. – Wednesday, Chase Elliott was in Daytona Beach, Florida, to help promote July’s upcoming race at Daytona International Speedway.

As a part of his day, Elliott visited Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and got to check out a Formula SAE race car students built from scratch.

Elliott was impressed with the student’s work and with what the school has to offer.

“Our sport is ever changing, and there’s always something new,” Elliott said. “It seems like this program is teaching that and really showing that when you think you have it all figured out, there’s always something a little better to learn and do.”
