CONCORD, N.C. – This week, a brand-new crop of recruits participated in the annual Pit Crew Combine at the Hendrick Motorsports campus.
During the day's events, prospective pit crew athletes ran through a variety of physical testing drills, strength & conditioning exercises and hands-on, pit stop-related drills.
“The main thing we’re looking for is guys that thrive under pressure,” developmental pit crew director Keith Flynn said. “We’re looking for guys that want to come in here, that are hungry to learn, that have patience and have that competitive desire to be the best.”
