MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Thursday afternoon at GoPro Motorplex, Alex Bowman and Dale Earnhardt Jr. teamed up with two dozen lucky fans to help unveil the No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 that Bowman will pilot in 2019.
A live stream of the unveil can be seen above, including a question-and-answer session between Earnhardt and Bowman.
"I think it looks great, and I'm excited to show it to everybody," Bowman said of the fresh paint scheme.
After the car was revealed, Bowman said he is particularly excited about the black numbers with blue outlines in addition to the fact that the sides of the car are white.
Earnhardt agreed.
"It's a good-looking car," he said.
Seeing the new ride up close had Bowman looking forward to Daytona.
"I'm really excited to see it on the racetrack and get racing with it."
