CONCORD, N.C. – On Sunday, William Byron captured the Daytona 500 pole. Tonight, he joins host Phil Keoghan on National Geographic’s “Explorer.”
The show, in its 11th season, delves deep into untold stories from across the world on the ultimate mission of discovery. In 2018, Keoghan joined Byron and the No. 24 team to dig into the science of a race car.
In the episode, titled “Race Car Science,” Keoghan follows the No. 24 team in the inaugural race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway “roval” and chats with Byron and his family about how he got his start in racing.
