DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – This weekend at Daytona International Speedway, Alex Bowman has a very special copilot riding with him.
Grant Reed, a Nationwide Children’s Hospital Patient Champion, recently passed away after a seven-year battle with cancer.
In his memory, Reed's name has been placed on the No. 88 Nationwide Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 above the passenger door.
“Honored to have him along for the ride,” Bowman tweeted.
