CONCORD, N.C. – It’s race day at Charlotte Motor Speedway – for all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers and both Hendrick Motorsports Gaming Club drivers.
This evening, Chase Elliott, William Byron, Jimmie Johnson and Alex Bowman will take on 600 miles at the 1.5-mile track at 6 p.m. ET on FOX.
But before that, Sam Morris and Nick Jobes – also known by their gamer tags, Mordog5 and NJobes25 – will kick off the inaugural eNASCAR Heat Pro League.
The very first event of the 12-race schedule for the esports league gets underway at 3:30 p.m. ET with the Xbox One drivers – including Morris – taking on Charlotte Motor Speedway. Then, it’s Jobes’ turn to race along with his fellow PlayStation 4 drivers at 4 p.m. ET.
Both races will be broadcast live on eNASCAR.com, the NASCAR Facebook page and the 704Games Twitch stream.
Pre-race festivities kick off at 3 p.m. ET and several NASCAR Cup Series drivers will make an appearance, including Elliott.
For fans at the track, the entire event will take place at the NASCAR Trackside Live stage.
