CONCORD, N.C. – In the opening event of the eNASCAR Heat Pro League season, the action was fast and furious at Charlotte Motor Speedway in “NASCAR Heat 3.”

The Xbox One race kicked things off, and Hendrick Motorsports Gaming Club driver Sam Morris moved in and around the top five at times throughout the event.

He even took the lead in the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with fewer than 15 laps remaining in the 40-lap race. On the final lap, he was running third before a competitor made contact with him and sent him to a 12th-place result.

The PlayStation 4 race came next, and Hendrick Motorsports GC gamer Nick Jobes climbed into the driver’s seat.

Like his teammate, Jobes raced into the top five at times throughout the race, including a stint in the runner-up position.

He was running inside the top five with 11 laps to go before being involved in a multiple-car incident. Ultimately, he finished ninth in the No. 25 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
