Ricky Hendrick's Performance Honda Suzuki Aprilia of Charlotte will open its doors at 502 North Polk Street in Pineville with a grand-opening event featuring the Hendrick Motorsports show cars and appearances by some of NASCAR's biggest names.

Along with complimentary refreshments, low APR financing on select Honda and Suzuki motorcycles, and prizes, including autographed sheet metal, the following attractions are scheduled:

MONDAY, APRIL 7

Appearances by Busch Series drivers Hank Parker and Shane Hmiel from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

TUESDAY, APRIL 8

Appearance by Jimmie Johnson, driver of the No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, from 5 to 6 p.m., and a live radio remote by WSOC-FM. Registration to win a private autograph and photo session with Johnson begins at 3 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9

Appearance by four-time Winston Cup champion Jeff Gordon, driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet from 11:45 a.m. until 1 p.m., and a live radio remote by WKKT-FM. Registration to win a private autograph and photo session with Gordon begins at 8 a.m.

THURSDAY, APRIL 10

Appearances by Winston Cup drivers Ken Schrader and Casey Mears, along with Brian Vickers, pilot of the No. 5 GMAC Financial Services Chevrolet in the Busch Series, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

FRIDAY, APRIL 11

Appearances by Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports, and Busch Series team owner Ricky Hendrick from 11 a.m. through 2 p.m.

SATURDAY, APRIL 12

Free concert by "The Remainders" from 12 until 4 p.m.
