CONCORD, N.C. – During the 2018 season, Hendrick Motorsports launched its very own Spotify account.
To mark the occasion, all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers and some special guests shared their personal playlists.
By the end of the summer, Chase Elliott, William Byron, Jimmie Johnson, Alex Bowman, Jeff Gordon and Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick had all posted playlists for fans to take a listen to their taste in music.
Now, a new group of athletes have joined the fray.
We asked the Hendrick Motorsports pit crew athletes – and their coaches – to provide their favorite songs to create another eclectic playlist for fans to digest.
With such a wide range of people combining to create one single playlist, the music genres expectedly vary wildly.
Among the artists featured are the likes of Metallica and Guns ‘n’ Roses alongside Eric Church, Alabama and Garth Brooks. There are samplings from The Cranberries, Fleetwood Mac, Red Hot Chili Peppers and even the Florida State University marching band. Justin Bieber makes an appearance, as well.
