HAMPTON, Ga. – Friday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Jimmie Johnson led his teammates in qualifying for Sunday’s race.
All four Hendrick Motorsports drivers advanced to the second round of qualifying, but Johnson was the only one to advance to the final round.
Johnson will lead his teammates to the green flag at Atlanta just outside the top 10 in 11th.
Alex Bowman and William Byron will roll off the grid back-to-back in 16th and 17th, respectively, while Chase Elliott will start 22nd.
Aric Almirola captured the pole.
Sunday’s race is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on FOX, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
