CONCORD, N.C. -- Road-course racing is back, this time as a cut-off race in the playoffs.
The NASCAR Cup Series field will head to Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday to take on the roval in the final event of the Round of 12. Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman still are vying to move on to the Round of 8, while William Byron and Jimmie Johnson look to add another win to their respective résumés.
Here is everything you need to know to tune in to Sunday's race at the Charlotte roval.
WHAT TIME IS PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING?
Since NASCAR is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of the teams and personnel at the track, there will be no practice and no qualifying.
The starting order for Sunday's race was announced Wednesday morning based on the new metric system put in place at the beginning of August.
WHAT TIME IS THE RACE?
The race will be on Sunday, Oct. 11 at 2:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on NBC.

Elliott scored his third consecutive road-course victory in August at the DAYTONA Road Course, matching NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart’s streak in 2004-2005. Four-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon holds the record for most consecutive road-course wins with six (1997-2000). Elliott currently is the reigning winner of the Charlotte roval after he won at the course during the playoffs last season.
