CONCORD, N.C. -- Chase Elliott will lead his Hendrick Motorsports teammates off the grid on Sunday with an 11th-place start at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Alex Bowman will start one row behind him in 13th place, Kyle Larson will roll off the grid 17th and William Byron will round out the group with a 31st-place start.
The metrics formula from last season was used to apply the data from the driver's finishing position of the last race (25%), the car owner's finishing position from the last race (25%), team owner points ranking (35%) and the fastest lap from the previous race.
Denny Hamlin is on the pole.
