INDIANAPOLIS - Kyle Larson's attempt at the #Hendrick1100 came up short on Sunday afternoon after a crash on Lap 92. The No. 17 HendrickCars.com entry was credited with a 27th-place finish.

"I got kind of aero tight behind him and as I peaked left, the nose grabbed and I spun," said Larson after the crash. "Hate it for Arrow McLaren, Rick Hendrick and everybody that put a lot into making this effort possible. Just bummed out, but we'll try to mentally move on from here quickly and get to Charlotte."

The day began with an all too familiar scene: Rain.
After a brief delay, Larson fired off from the 21st starting spot. However, the Elk Grove, California, native would stall the car on pit road during the team's first trip to pit lane and surrender track position in the process.
Back under green, Larson would steer clear of several incidents before spinning on Lap 92 following a restart. Larson was checked and released from the infield care center before taking off for Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Coca-Cola 600.
