CONCORD, N.C. – Saturday’s qualifying at Homestead-Miami Speedway has been canceled.

Inclement weather on Friday caused the cancellation of both NASCAR Cup Series practices for the season finale, so Saturday’s qualifying has been replaced by a practice session from 2:05 to 2:55 p.m. ET.

The starting grid for Sunday’s race will be set by the rule book.

That means William Byron will lead his teammates to the green flag inside the top 10 in ninth.

The next Hendrick Motorsports driver to the starting line will be Chase Elliott in 11th with Alex Bowman alongside him in 12th.

Jimmie Johnson will begin the race in 18th.

Denny Hamlin will take the green flag from the pole position.

Sunday’s race is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
