CONCORD, N.C. -- It's no secret that Fontana, California has been good to Jimmie Johnson and Hendrick Motorsports.
Johnson has earned six wins at Auto Club Speedway, the most of any driver in Cup Series history. The speedway also is where he earned his first Cup Series win in 2002.

- Aside from owning six victories at Fontana, Johnson has led for 980 laps around the 2-mile track, has five second-place results, has zero DNFs (did not finish), has 25 lead-lap finishes and an average finish of 7.6. He's also the only driver to win at the track in his twenties, thirties and forties.
- Chase Elliott has started at the Southern California track four times, with two top-10 finishes in that span.
- In the four times Alex Bowman has started at Auto Club Speedway, he has completed 99.8% of the laps.
- Jeff Gordon won the inaugural race at the California track in June 1997, while two Hendrick Motorsports drivers earned their first career Cup Series wins at the track while driving for the team: Johnson in 2002 and Kyle Busch in 2005. The organization can further that trend if William Byron earns his first Cup Series win at the track Sunday.
