CONCORD, N.C. -- The first of three segments is in the books for the eNASCAR Heat Pro League. Wednesday's race at virtual New Hampshire Motor Speedway saw Nick Jobes finish 12th on PlayStation 4 and Sam Morris place 13th on the Xbox One.

With the finish, Jobes currently is fourth place in the overall standings with 87 points. Morris is 14th in the standings with 44 points.

Jobes started in third place in the 55-lap event. He fell to fifth three laps into the race and maintained that position for 12 laps.

He dropped to 10th by lap 35 and then 11th two laps later. He was able to jump to eighth when a large chunk of the field pitted halfway through the race.

Coming out of pit road Jobes was in 10th. He jumped up one spot to ninth when the first caution came out with 22 laps to go. He moved all the way up to second for part of a lap, but slipped down the ranks to ninth with 15 laps left.

With less than 10 laps to go Jobes was in 12th place, which is how he finished.

Morris got off to a fast start after he started seventh, jumping up to third place in the first five laps. He dropped two spots to fifth by the second caution of the race on lap eight.

The third caution came out on lap 18 and Morris tumbled to 14th. He quickly rallied and was back in the top 10 in ninth place when the fourth caution came out.

He was up to fifth when the field went green with 34 laps to go, but by the midpoint of the race Morris was down to ninth.

Twenty four laps in Morris moved up to seventh place. A lap later he was in sixth and remained steady in the position until lap 15 when he moved up to fifth.

He pitted after lap 14 and fell to 14th coming out of pit road. Morris soon moved up to 13th, which is how he finished.
