CONCORD, N.C. -- Chase Elliott will be fifth in the starting lineup for Sunday's race at Homestead.
Elliott is the first of three Hendrick Motorsports drivers who will start in the top 10 in South Florida. Alex Bowman will start in eighth and Jimmie Johnson will be in the fifth row in ninth. William Byron will rev his engine in 22nd.
The starting lineup was set through a drawing based on the drivers' current Cup Series standings that include all 11 completed races so far this season.
Denny Hamlin secured the pole position.
The race at Homestead will be Sunday, June 14 at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX.
