CONCORD, N.C. -- San Diego-based video game developer Psyonix has joined forces with the NASCAR Cup Series to create the NASCAR 2021 Fan Pack that will be available in Rocket League starting May 6.
The No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE, driven by reigning Cup Series champion Chase Elliott, will be featured on all platforms. Chevrolet is one of three featured vehicles fans can select in the Item Shop, and Elliott’s classic No. 9 NAPA look is one of nine decals and player banners participants can sport.
The unique game will see drivers representing different teams and manufacturers working together at times to fulfill a common objective, far different from standard racing games.
The NASCAR 2021 Fan Pack will be available for 2000 Credits from May 6 until May 12 but will return to celebrate major NASCAR events throughout the year. This weekend, the event at Darlington Raceway will be the primary focus.
