AUSTIN, Texas – Alex Bowman led the Hendrick Motorsports charge in Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series qualifying session at Circuit of The Americas.

The driver was fifth overall after wheeling his No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 around the 3.41-mile road course in the second of two rounds. It will be Bowman’s third top-10 start in six races in 2022. He has not qualified outside the top 15 this season.
