CONCORD, N.C. – Hendrick Motorsports teammates Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson will be part of a new docuseries set to debut on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network.

"Race for the Championship" will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the battle for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series championship from the start of the season at Daytona International Speedway to when the champion is crowned at Phoenix Raceway.

The series will feature several Cup Series competitors, with the two most recent champions - Elliott and Larson - among those who will be front and center.

Over the course of the episodes, the series will showcase the drivers' lives on and off the track as well as the pressure to perform in the top level of stock-car racing. The 2022 season has been one unlike any other with the Next Gen car making its debut, 16 different winners and plenty of action heating up the track.
