CONCORD, N.C. - Hendrick Motorsports will head to Homestead-Miami Speedway for the middle race in the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

The team has won four times at the 1.5-mile track, including the last two Cup events. Kyle Larson won last year's race to earn the No. 5 team a spot in the Championship 4 for the owner's title. In 2021, just three races into their pairing at the Cup level, William Byron and Rudy Fugle scored the victory at this venue.

Larson is locked into the Championship 4 in the driver and owner playoffs. Byron is fighting to advance in the driver playoffs, while the Nos. 9 and 24 teams are in the hunt for the owner championship.

Larson will have the HendrickCars.com paint scheme on the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
He dominated last year's race, leading 199 laps en route to the win. In nine starts, he has five top-five results and an average finish of 10.7. All four of Larson's points-paying victories this season have come with HendrickCars.com as the primary partner.

For the third and final time this year, the No. 9 Chevy will have the Hooters paint scheme. In Chase Elliott's most recent start with the Hooters paint scheme, he finished third at the Chicago Street Race in July. Over seven starts at Homestead-Miami, he has an average finish of 9.7 and earned the runner-up result in the 2020 race.

Byron's No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will have the colors of Liberty University on board for the final time this year. In their most recent race as a primary partner at Texas Motor Speedway in September, Byron scored his sixth win of the season. In five starts at Homestead-Miami, he has a win, two top-10 finishes and a pole position.

Alex Bowman's No. 48 will carry the special Ally/Koker's Garage collaboration. The #SprintingPalms paint scheme was selected via a fan vote. In seven starts at Homestead-Miami, Bowman has a pair of top-10 finishes. He missed last year's race due to injury.
