In 2024, Bowman and Ally are committed to a combined donation of $4,800 per week to a local Best Friends network partner near the market that Bowman and the NASCAR Cup Series are visiting that weekend.

Since the partnership started in 2021, Ally and Bowman have raised over $630,000. The Ally Best Friends paint scheme has been on Bowman's car for the spring race at Phoenix in the past three seasons and it was also on track last summer at Pocono Raceway. This year, the car will once again run at Pocono.

"We are super excited to have Best Friends back at Phoenix (Raceway)," Bowman said. "It's always exciting to run the pet-themed schemes.

"I look forward to trying to go for a good run there. It's been a while since we had a great day at Phoenix. Hopefully, we can change that this weekend."

Bowman's best result in the No. 48 Ally Best Friends paint scheme came last spring at Phoenix, with a ninth-place finish. That marked the Tucson, Arizona, native's second career top-10 at his home track.

Best Friends' mission is to ensure no more homeless pets and end the killing in America's animal shelters by 2025. Since its founding in 1984, Best Friends has worked to build partnerships and programs in communities nationwide to "Save Them All."

Pet rescue and animal welfare are causes close to Bowman's heart. The 30-year-old Tucson, Arizona, native has a passion for helping animals. In 2022, he was named the Halifax Humane Society Humanitarian of the Year. Bowman is a dog lover and has a charcoal Labrador retriever named Finn.

"Ally has been all in. They've leaned on me as far as what things mean a lot to me and what I am passionate about," Bowman said. "We've raised a couple hundred thousand dollars for homeless animals, which is special. That's been really cool and I am excited to continue that. Continuing to make a difference in that space is important to me."

Both Ally and Best Friends have also worked to honor one of Bowman's dogs, Roscoe, a rescue who passed away last year. Ally donated $5,000 in Roscoe's honor to help sponsor one of the dog runs at the Humane Society of Charlotte and the society placed Roscoe's name on the donor plaque in the lobby. The Humane Society of Charlotte was the first event that Ally and Bowman did together in December 2020. Additionally, Best Friends placed a wind chime at their Utah sanctuary in memory of Roscoe due to Bowman's commitment to Best Friends' mission.
