CONCORD, N.C. - Hendrick Motorsports will compete in its first road course race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season on Sunday at Circuit of The Americas.

The 20-turn, 3.41-mile road course is one of five serpentine tracks on the schedule. Chase Elliott won the inaugural race in 2021 and Hendrick Motorsports has placed two drivers in the top five in each of the three Cup Series events there. As a whole, the organization's 27 road course wins are the most by any team in the sport's top series.

Kyle Larson will drive the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 this weekend. Since 2021, his four road course wins are the most in the series and have come at three different tracks. The 31-year-old driver's best result at COTA is a runner-up finish to Elliott in 2021.

Elliott's No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts white look returns after the scheme made its debut in last month's Clash at the Coliseum. The 28-year-old driver's seven road course wins are the most among active drivers and rank third on the all-time list. His average finish (2.5) at COTA is the best in the field and he has not finished outside the top five.

William Byron will display a colorful livery on the No. 24 RAPTOR Chevy. The 26-year-old driver won the pole position for last year's event en route to finishing a personal-best fifth at this track. He is the team's most recent road course winner, having been victorious at Watkins Glen International in August 2023.
