CONCORD, N.C. - Hendrick Motorsports takes to the high banks of Talladega Superspeedway for the 10th race of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

The organization has a series-best 14 wins at the 2.66-mile track. Chase Elliott is the only driver in the team's current lineup to visit victory lane at Talladega and he has two victories there (spring 2019 and fall 2022) in his Cup Series career.

Kyle Larson will drive the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Larson's best finish at Talladega came in the spring of 2022 when he finished fourth. Over the last five races at the Alabama track, the 31-year-old driver has started in the top 10. In his Cup Series career, the 2021 Cup Series champion has yet to win a race with the superspeedway rules package.

Elliott will drive the No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 this weekend and is coming off his first 2024 victory, which came at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday. Along with two wins, the 28-year-old driver has five top-five finishes and eight top-10s in 16 starts at Talladega. Over the last four races there, his 189 points scored are the most in the series. Elliott's 13.6 average finish is the most among series regulars at Talladega. Adding his 2022 win at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he has three superspeedway race wins.

William Byron has the red, white and blue of Liberty University on the No. 24 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. In his last seven starts at Talladega, Byron has a pair of runner-up finishes -- including one in the most recent race there in October of 2023 -- three top-fives and four top-10s. Talladega is the only superspeedway-style track that the 26-year-old driver has yet to win at as he has two wins at Daytona International Speedway, with one coming in the 2024 DAYTONA 500 and two wins at Atlanta.

Alex Bowman carries the primary No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Sunday's race. Bowman's best finish at Talladega came in the spring of 2019 when he finished second to his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Elliott. In a fun statistical oddity, all four of Bowman's top-10 finishes at Talladega have come in the spring race. While he has yet to win on a superspeedway-style track, he did place second to teammate Byron in this year's DAYTONA 500.
