CONCORD, N.C. - Kyle Larson is used to making history. This Sunday, he can make some more.
Another win in the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race would give him four and tie him with Jimmie Johnson for the most all-time. As it stands, he remains knotted with Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt for second.
Not bad company to keep, to say the least.
Chase Elliott is also a former All-Star Race winner, having gone to victory lane at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2020 en route to his first championship.
Throughout history, the All-Star Race has included several formats and locations, but one constant has been Hendrick Motorsports success. The organization is the all-time leader in starts (130), drivers to make an All-Star appearance (23), 11 (wins), winners (five), top fives (44), top 10s (73) and laps led (990).
