CONCORD, N.C. - If we've said it once, we've said it a million times, when in doubt, look for a trophy.

Oh, and speaking of a million ...

That's right, this week's red-letter relic comes with a big ol' check as well.

OK, to make it make sense. Behold, the trophy from victory lane in 2001 as Jeff Gordon scored the first of 10 victories (and counting) for Hendrick Motorsports at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The victory was also part of a NASCAR Cup Series championship season for the No. 24 team.

And it was also part of the No Bull Five program with the team and Robbie Mims, a fan from Alabama, taking home $1 million for the win. And wouldn't you know it, our resident archivist, historian and keeper of all things cool, Sam Ulrich, found that original million-dollar check lying around.

Now, before you get too excited, no, the check is not the prize this week. And we're quite sure it was cashed long ago but if ol' Sam has starts building an additional wing onto the side of his on-campus treasure trove, we'll be suspicious!

As for what you CAN win this week, while it isn't quite a million dollars, it's still quite the haul.

First, a Gordon hero card from that 2001 season. Second, and for good measure because we know you love signatures, how about an additional hero card autographed by our vice chairman and NASCAR Hall of Famer?

Third, and yet another pull from a deep and dusty box by ol' Sam, comes this gem: A set of action figures in celebration of Hendrick Motorsports' 100th win, which also came in 2001 in an event also won by Gordon at Michigan International Speedway.

There's a figure for each driver that registered a win during those first 100 races - Geoff Bodine, Tim Richmond, Darrell Waltrip, Ken Schrader, Ricky Rudd, Terry Labonte, Jerry Nadeau and of course, Gordon. And they all surround a commemorative diecast bearing the No. 100. Pretty cool huh?

And it all can be yours. You just have to match wits with Sam in his seven-question trivia quiz this week, related to all things Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Remember, entries are limited to one per device and the quiz will close at 11:45 p.m. on Monday.

Thanks for playing and best of luck!
