CONCORD, N.C. – Jimmie Johnson and the No. 48 team will continue their pursuit of an eighth championship in the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs Round of 8.
As the intensity on the racetrack heats up, Johnson is focused on keeping things simple.
“Of course I would love to be at eight,” Johnson said. “I feel that I have a lot of good years of racing left in me. I know what I’m capable of and this team is and the more simple I keep the process I think the better it’s going to be for me.”
