RICHMOND, Va. – Friday evening at Richmond Raceway, Alex Bowman led his Hendrick Motorsports teammates in qualifying.
Advancing to the second round of the qualifying, Bowman earned a top-15 qualifying position, finishing the session in 14th.
Chase Elliott, William Byron and Jimmie Johnson all joined their teammate in the second round and qualified 19th, 20th and 22nd, respectively.
Kevin Harvick won the pole.
