AVONDALE, Ariz. – All four Hendrick Motorsports teammates will start Sunday's race at ISM Raceway in the top-15.

In Friday night's qualifying session, Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman and William Byron advanced to the final round.

Elliott earned the outside pole position, which ties him for his best start at the desert oval, and has now secured a starting spot in the first two rows in the last four races at Phoenix.

"I look forward to Sunday," Elliott said. "I think our Hooters Camaro has a good place to start and we can have a good pit selection. That’s important. We have a long race ahead. But, I’d really like to get a pole outside of a speedway track. We’ll try again next week.”

Bowman will line up two rows behind Elliott in sixth with Byron starting in the seventh spot.

"I felt like we made some good adjustments and changed the brake bias a little bit and that helped us a lot that second lap in the second round and was pretty optimistic about a third round knowing that," Bowman stated at the conclusion of qualifying.

Jimmie Johnson narrowly missed advancing to the final round and solidified the 15th starting position.

Ryan Blaney captured the pole.

Sunday’s 312-lap race is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
