DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – William Byron’s run to the Championship 4 last year was highlighted in Netflix’s five-part docuseries, "NASCAR: Full Speed."

Byron was one of the series stars highlighting the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs. Fans saw a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes preparation on and off the track as drivers competed for a championship in the top level of stock car racing.

"It was cool and I liked it a lot," Byron said. "I thought they did a good job editing it and making everyone look good. It was good. I was skeptical going in of what it was going to look like, but it turned out better than I thought."

In 2023, Byron won a series-high six races en route to a career-best third-place finish in the standings. His Darlington Raceway win in May marked the 100th win for the iconic No. 24 Chevrolet and his playoff win at Texas Motor Speedway was the milestone 300th for Hendrick Motorsports. Byron also led all drivers in top-10 finishes (21), average finish (11.0) and stage wins (nine), while tying for the lead in top-fives (15) with teammate Kyle Larson, who was also featured in "Full Speed."
