In the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Garage 56 Chevy was a hit overseas with fans and competitors. The car put down lap times that topped entries in the GT class. For more than 20 hours, the car ran near the top of the GT field before a drive line issue sidelined the team for more than an hour. Overall, the car was running at the finish of the race, completing 285 laps around the 8.4-mile Circuit de la Sarthe and finishing 39th in the 62-car field
