CONCORD, N.C. – Over the last three races at Bristol Motor Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports is the only team to place three drivers in the top five in multiple races.

The team won the 2021 race and finished third and fifth. The following year, the Rick Hendrick-owned organization took the checkered flag in second, third, and fifth place.

In that same stretch, the team has the most top-five finishes (seven) and top-10s (nine) at the 0.533-mile track. All three of those races took place in the playoffs in September and this will mark the first spring event on the Tennessee track's concrete high banks since 2020.

Each driver from the Hendrick Motorsports quartet has enjoyed strong runs at Bristol, but Kyle Larson is the only one to post a victory. In the 2021 event, that year's NASCAR Cup Series champion led a race-high 175 laps and passed Kevin Harvick for the lead with four to go. Larson is the only driver to finish in the top five in each of the last three races on this layout at Bristol and the driver of the No. 5 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has the best average finish (2.7) and the most points scored (145). Last year's race saw Larson drive from the back to finish second. In his Cup Series career at Bristol, he has led the second-most laps (870) of any active track on the circuit.

Byron is one of three drivers – with teammate Larson – to earn top-10 finishes in the last three races at "The Last Great Colosseum." The best results in that stretch are a pair of third-place finishes in 2021 and 2022. The 26-year-old driver has the second-best average finish (5.0) and is tied for the third-most points scored (120) over the last three races here. The only thing that Byron hasn't done at Bristol is lead a lap, and it is his only active track with multiple starts where he has yet to lead.

Elliott has top-10 finishes in his last two Bristol starts, with a runner-up result in 2022. In the one race out of the previous three that he did finish outside the top 10 (in 2021), the 2020 Cup Series champion led 129 laps and was leading with 37 laps left before contact with Harvick cut a tire. Elliott holds the sixth-best average finish (11.3) and points scores (99) in the last three races at the Thunder Valley track. Looking back on his history, the 28-year-old nearly won the spring race in 2020, but contact with Joey Logano in the closing lap took him out of contention. That same year, he won the All-Star Race, the only year the event was held at Bristol. Elliott's 439 laps led are his third-most at any track on the calendar.

Bowman's fifth-place finish in the 2021 playoff race matched his best result at Bristol. This is one of two top-five finishes and three top-10s that the 30-year-old driver has in nine starts at this track with Hendrick Motorsports. In the 2022 race, Bowman started third and earned 10 stage points across both segments before being caught up in an accident on the backstretch during the first part of the final stage.

After a tough batch of results at Phoenix Raceway, Hendrick Motorsports will be looking to bounce back in a big way and add to its 12 victories at Bristol. Tune in to catch the action on Sunday, March 17, at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX, PRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).
