CONCORD, N.C. - Throw geography out the window. When it comes to Hendrick Motorsports at Pocono Raceway, it's hard not to think of Richmond.
Tim Richmond, that is.
The "Tricky Triangle" is perhaps more synonymous with Richmond than any other track and why not, as four of his 13 career victories came there including three with Hendrick Motorsports. And those wins include some classics (may we suggest revisiting the 1986 Summer 500, for instance?).
In fact, Richmond swept both races at Pocono in 1986 and won the first race at the 2.5-mile tri-oval in 1987, his third straight victory there. The two wins in '86 were part of a seven-win season in which he finished third in points.

Unfortunately, the win in 1987 was the next-to-last of his career, which would end just seven races later.
Still, it was a magical time for the team and our archivist, Sam Ulrich, came through this week as always, digging through boxes and bags to find a few artifacts to commemorate Richmond's time at Hendrick Motorsports.
First, two plaques. One lists all team members, all seven wins and eight poles from the 1986 season. The second, a gift from Proctor & Gamble to team owner Rick Hendrick after the 1987 season, commemorating the team's relationship with Folger's Coffee.

And if that wasn't enough, ol' Sam found one more goody, an official membership card to the Folgers Racing Team fan club, adorned with signatures from Richmond and crew chief Harry Hyde.
Don't worry, we didn't forget about you!
That's right, even with all that, Sam still found something cool for us to send you.
By now, you know the drill. Take the Hendrick Motorsports trivia quiz (located above), concocted by Sam himself, do better than anyone else and be entered into a random drawing to win this week's prize.
This time around, Sam got a little artistic. And by that, we mean a gold-trimmed, artist's rendering of Richmond along with three cars, including the famed No. 25 Folgers Chevrolet he ran at Hendrick Motorsports.

The rules remain the same: Only one entry per device is allowed. The quiz will close on Monday night at 11:45 p.m.
Thanks as always for playing, and good luck!
