CONCORD, N.C. - With only two races in the books, it's a small sample size when it comes to NASCAR Cup Series statistical data at the Chicago Street Course. 

But it usually doesn't take Hendrick Motorsports very long to make an impression. And so was the case a year ago when Alex Bowman drove to victory lane in the second race at the circuit in the Windy City. 

Bowman's victory, his first on a road course, locked him into the 2024 playoffs and if he was to defend his win, would do the same this weekend. 

Kyle Larson was the pole sitter for last year's Chicago Street Race and finished fourth in the inaugural event. Chase Elliott came home one spot better in 2024 as the organization put three cars in the top five. 

William Byron's average finish of 10.5 in two events leads the company and is tied for the sixth best in the sport.
