NASCAR qualifying results today: Byron leads Hendrick Motorsports at New Hampshire

LOUDON, N.H. – The NASCAR Cup Series opens the Round of 12 this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Entering the race, William Byron, Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott all remain in the hunt for the championship.

Saturday's activity began with Byron topping the charts in practice. His lap time of 29.795 seconds was not only the best of Group B, but the best lap time of any driver in the combined results.
