CONCORD, N.C. – Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, the second in the Round of eight, is sure to present plenty of high stakes playoff racing.

Coming into the weekend, the remaining playoff drivers will be on high alert. While the chance for glory is in play at Talladega, the possibility of a poor finish looms large. If a driver hasn't yet advanced to the Championship 4, his position is anything but safe.

Kyle Larson sits the highest of the remaining Hendrick Motorsports drivers (35 markers above the cutline) and is in search of a first career drafting track victory. And Sunday might be the best time in his career to earn it.

After issues late at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, William Byron (-15) and Chase Elliott (-23) enter Talladega in search of solid runs. Alex Bowman also heads to Alabama in search of his first drafting track victory having already scored two runner-up results in his career.
