CONCORD, N.C. - Sunday's main event at Phoenix Raceway was full of excitement in the closing laps. And after 36 points-paying races, Kyle Larson was crowned the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series champion.
But in a series where winning is ever more difficult to come by, plenty of stories remain throughout the field.

William Byron's walk off victory at Martinsville earned him a third-consecutive Championship 4 appearance. Chase Elliott recorded his fifth multi-win season, his first since 2022. And Alex Bowman made the playoffs for the seventh time in his Cup Series career.
