CONCORD, N.C. – This weekend, William Byron is getting animated.

The newest episode of the hit Disney Channel show “Milo Murphy’s Law” will feature the reigning NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year alongside the main character Milo Murphy – voiced by “Weird Al” Yankovic – participating in a charity race.

It’s hardly the first time a Hendrick Motorsports driver has made his way into a cartoon.

In 2017, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon teamed up with Mickey Mouse himself, appearing in the Disney Junior show “Mickey and the Roadster Racers.” The year prior, Johnson, Chase Elliott and Kasey Kahne were featured on the Nickelodeon show “Blaze and the Monster Machines.”

Now, it’s Byron’s turn to get in on the fun.

He’s joined by several other NASCAR drivers and personalities in the episode, which will air this Saturday, Jan. 26, at 7 a.m. ET on Disney Channel and 11 a.m. ET on Disney XD.
